Sometimes I can get stuck in a rut when it comes to family devotions. I really try to keep a regular rhythm of being in the Word with my kids, but when the schedule gets a little too full, or one of the kids is sick, or I experience push-back from multiple kiddos, the odds feel stacked against me.
What I have found to be especially helpful in the desire to keep family devotions a regular part of our rhythm, is when I can pair them with a fun theme that the kids are already bought into–like Advent, or Lent, or even God’s Love for February.
When school and church and even TV shows are pushing content about Love in the month of February, this is the perfect time to work with the excitement our kids already have for the season and pair it with family devotions to teach them what God has to say about Love.
And I am honestly so excited about these February Scripture and Activity Cards. They include 14 days of Bible passages about Love with discussion questions and even prayer prompts to help your family dig into the passage.
