A Fall Recipe Round-up For Living into the season

Y’all know I love a good recipe. But what I love even more than a good recipe is a seasonal recipe. The ones that help you lean in to the current season you’re in.

Fall is (very-nearly-almost) here and what better way to lean into autumn than with some delicious fall recipes? This round-up is savory and sweet, highlighting pumpkin and apple cider. These recipes below are family favorites in my house and I hope will be top of your list for your next meal or Sunday baking. Enjoy!

Apple snacking cake

This cake is moist, full of apples and can even be made deliciously gluten free! It’s a cross between a fall bread and a cake so I think it’s the kind of food that works for dessert, breakfast, and everything in between.

Pumpkin Spiced Snickerdoodle cookies

These cookies are delicious and so simple to make. I love that they use pumpkin (but not too much!), and the hint of cinnamon is really yummy.

Cider-Braised Meatballs & Couscous

Did you know that dinner that can lean into Fall as well? These cider-braised meatballs are made with hard cider and apple cider vinegar. They can also be made gluten free by swapping the breadcrumbs for a gluten free panko, and using rice or quinoa instead if pearled couscous. Either way, they make for a delicious autumn dinner!

Pumpkin Apple Soup with apple-bacon compote

If I could beg you to make one thing this fall it would be this soup. Sweet notes of apple and pumpkin, along with a sweet and salty bacon-apple crumble make this soup crave-able. Trust me, this will be a repeat recipe in your home.

Bonus: Fall Chili

There’s nothing about this recipe that screams fall, it’s just that chili is perfect for Fall and tailgating and Halloween parties. This is my *most* downloaded recipe and after years of making chili, it is truly my favorite.

There you have it! A fall recipe round-up from my kitchen to yours.

What’s a favorite fall recipe that you like to make?
