We are so excited to introduce our newest batch of family discipleship cards–The Jesus Story Advent Devotional! Named as such, because these cards will help you teach your family the story of Jesus’ birth and incarnation, in a way that’s easy to understand and engage with for kids.

We’ve been offering some version of these cards for the past few years, but for the first time ever we are offering them as a 4×6″ physical set! And y’all–they have been professionally printed and laminated. I love the look and feel of these cards.

Each of the 25 Advent cards comes with a Scripture passage, discussion questions and a “big idea” summary. They also come with prayer prompts, a hand-drawn illustration to help you imagine the passage and a Christmas cheer suggestion to make memories together.

My friend (and artist), Tasha Hess, drew these illustrations specifically for the cards and every year I marvel at how beautiful they are.

Last year, my family tested out the discussion questions & prayer prompts that are new to the cards–so from my family of 4 (ages 9-2) I can attest that there is engagement, joy, and room to learn for older and younger kids with the cards.

The hope for this devotional is that your family would engage with God and one another throughout Advent, and that you would start a meaningful Advent tradition that carries with you for years to come.
