Friends I’m excited to say that today More for Motherhood turns 1 year old! When I began this community, I wasn’t quite sure where it was headed, but I knew I was longing for more. More joy in my day to day as a mom, more peace and even more purpose in the day in and day out of Christian motherhood. I also knew that 2 things could help me really find this more that I was seeking–resources + community. Like-minded mamas who wanted to pursue the same things in their journey to lead their children (and themselves) to Jesus.
So here we are–blog post #89 for the year. It’s been an exciting journey and learning curve for me as I’ve sought to share helpful resources, and attempted to do so from a place of authenticity even when the day to day of mom-ing sometimes felt more wearisome and anxiety-ridden than peace-filled and joyful.
I’m really grateful for the other mamas who have made this community so special. For every guest blog post, instagram story takeover, encouraging message and resourceful comment–you all have made this community what it is. Thanks for sharing your wisdom, your stories and your heartaches, in the hopes that other mamas might be blessed and encounter Jesus.
I’m also excited for where this community is headed. I hope to continue to create resources that bless you and your family, making mom-life a little easier, a little more fun, and a whole lot more dependent upon Jesus. I hope to continue to elevate the voices of other mamas knowing that each of our journeys are unique and worth hearing/learning from. And I also hope to continue getting to know each of you more–thanks for spurring me on in my faith and I hope and pray that this community has done the same for you.
To celebrate, I wanted to do a giveaway. You all have blessed me in so many ways and so I wanted to bless one of you in return.
